The Jedi series of comics was written by John Ostrander and Jeremy Barlow, and was published by Dark Horse Comics from 20 August 2003 to 21 July 2004 as a series of one-shots chronicling the actions of five Jedi during the Clone Wars.

Star Wars Jedi Council: Acts of War

Jedi Council: Acts of War is a 4-issue comics series, featuring several of the Jedi Masters, including Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The comic is set less than a year before the Battle of Naboo in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and 33 years before the Battle of Yavin in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, telling the story of a Jedi task force sent to the Yinchorri system to settle a conflict.

BBY and ABY are the standards of measurement for years in the Star Wars galaxy. BBY stands for years before the Battle of Yavin, which occurred during Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. ABY stands for years after the Battle of Yavin.

Star Wars Jango Fett: Open Seasons

Jango Fett: Open Seasons is a comic written by Hayden Blackman and published by Dark Horse Comics on 29 January 2003. The story is set in the Star Wars galaxy shortly after the events of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and 32 years before the Battle of Yavin in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

He was born a poor farm boy on a forgotten planet in the galaxy's Outer Rim. Taken under the wing of a wise mentor after the violent death of his family, he would rise up to lead a band of fighters struggling for survival against a dark force that threatens to wipe them out completely. Han Solo is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. He was played by Harrison Ford in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

Solo is a central character in the Star Wars saga. In the first released Star Wars film (A New Hope), Solo appears as a largely self-concerned spice smuggler who only reluctantly and somewhat accidentally becomes involved in the rebel movement against the evil Galactic Empire. Over the course of this film and its sequels (The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi), Solo becomes a chief figure in the Rebel Alliance. Star Wars creator George Lucas describes him as "a loner who realizes the importance of being part of a group and helping for the common good."
